The Keys to Enlightenment Program was established in 1990 by Reverend Mary Saurer-Smith following a lifetime of spiritual devotion, self-help adventures, study, teaching spiritual principles and seeking greater enlightenment through prayer and meditation.   After numerous direct enlightenment experiences and 2 NDEs Mary relocated from Kansas City to Tulsa and co-founded the original organization under the name of The Christian Mystics and Metaphysicians Society (CMMS), later changing its name to A Path to Higher Consciousness and finally to the Keys to Enlightenment Program.    Mary is the author of several published books, among which is her autobiography, Windows of Life and Death.   In the process of her own unfoldment, Mary's psychic awareness increased along with her spiritual awareness and understanding of Ultimate Reality.  Mary retired after many years in Hospice program management  in order to devote full time to writing and her ministry.  Finding a life partner with similar background, experiences and understanding was an adventure in itself and their story is found in Mary’s autobiography Windows of Life and Death, available through http://www.amazon.com

Reverend Tony Smith holds an MBA, is  a Licensed Unity Teacher and a 12th Degree Rosicrucian. He is a New Thought speaker and teacher. Before their marriage, Tony joined Mary as a partner in the work in order to share their combined experiences of growth, revelations and spiritual enlightenment with spiritual seekers. 

Reverend Mary Saurer-Smith is a Licensed Unity Teacher, a retired Hospice program manager and bereavement coordinator and a 12th Degree Rosicrucian. Known  formerly by the name of Mary Goffeney, she served 5 years in Silent Unity as a supervisor and trainer in the prayer ministry and writing departments.  At the same time she also taught classes at the Unity Village Chapel and Unity of Independence in Missouri and worked as a professional story-teller in Missouri.  Mary  is listed in the 2010-2011 issue of Who's Who of American Women.
