A lifetime of seeking the fullness of Spiritual Enlightenment led Mary Saurer-Smith steadily into ever deeper direct revelations of Spiritual Reality.
Through spiritual devotion, meditation and prayer supplemented with self-help activities, travel, study, and teaching she eventually established a unique ministry for sharing not just the insights and revelations that came to her but the Keys that opened the way to greater and greater spiritual sight. To her delight the Path led to Tony Smith who was using the same Keys for his own discoveries. After 18 years of a wonderful, platonic friendship, a dramatic shift in his consciousness formed a magnetism between them that simultaneously opened their eyes to memories of each other in former incarnations. Their personal love for each other was rekindled and they were married within a year while Tony became co-founder of the Keys to Enlightenment Program. He brings his own spiritual transformation experiences and knowledge to the classes and shares equally in their mission of guiding others who seek greater spiritual enlightenment.
Their story is found in Mary’s autobiography, Windows of Life and Death. Scroll down to read more. Scro

Mary received her first direct spiritual revelation at age 3 with a sudden vision of a Light Being. The Visitor came to her in an orb of Light, bringing words of assurance and saying that she was in the world to teach about God. That started her on a path of consciously listening, watching and seeking greater spiritual enlightenment through the spontaneous use of the 4 Keys that she would later teach. At age 10, a transforming Spiritual Initiation involving a massive influx of Divine Light illumined her consciousness with knowledge that sent her into even more contemplative meditation and increased for the spiritual quest. In her late 20s Mary had a Near-Death Experience (NDE) that was followed by numerous spiritual insights and revelations that confirmed her purpose and expanded her understanding as well as her psychic abilities.
The next 20 years were spent in adventurous dedication to self-directed research related to the practices that she later identified as the Keys to direct spiritual enlightenment. She studied everything from the vast array of world religions to numerous non-religious spiritual belief systems in order to expand her view of the variety of spiritual beliefs.
Mary's passion for spiritual development did not prevent her enjoyment of a personal life. She served the role of military wife, mother of two children and leadership in numerous volunteer organizations. She traveled the world, explored other cultures, and applied her spiritual knowledge to the events of her life. As her children matured she felt a restless desire to spend more time teaching the concepts that had been revealed to her, yet she had found no religion or organization that would allow the full revelation.
By the time she was a 12th Degree Rosicrucian at age 39 and wondering what she might study next, she experienced the rapturous spiritual Initiation known as Nirvana, far beyond the "Cosmic Consiousness" that it is thought to be. A few months later, while she was still contemplating the knowledge that came with the Initiation, she died on the operating table during a routine surgical procedure. It was her 2nd NDE and the new revelation during that experience, the life review and her decision to continue her life in physical form confirmed that the time had come. This brought her to the point of preparing for her life's work as a direct spiritual teacher. She elected to earn her credentials, practice her leadership skills and increase her public speaking skills at Unity skills at Unity headquarters in Lees Summit , Missouri. During that time she worked as the day supervisor and trainer in the world-wide prayer ministry of SilentUnity and later as supervisor in the Silent Unity writing department. Simultaneously she taught she taught classes at Unity headquarters, worked as a professional story-teller throughout the state of Missouri and served at a crisis center apart from the Unity Ministry. After 7 years, Divine Timing brought an end to that segment of her life, signaling the time to launch her ministry as an independent New Thought organization. She relocated to Tulsa, OK. where she registered her ministry as The Christian Mystics and Metaphysicians Society, and started with 27 students. While teaching 3 classes a week she also held a job with Hospice of Green Country where she served in the roles of Bereavement Coordinator, Manager of the Chaplain Program and finally the Manager, Recruiter and Trainer for their volunteer program. Mary retired from hospice service in 2001 in order to devote more time to her ministry, spiritual counseling and writing. She published her first book, A Comparison of World Religions, in 2002.
Her union with Tony Smith in 2009 brought not only the quality of personal love, but also the spiritual partner that she had always wanted. They renamed their ministry the Keys to Enlightenment Program. Tony and Mary serve equally in the spiritual work. Mary is the author of all study guides and books used in the Program. She also serves as spiritual counselor to local and online members. of the Program.
